James defends men's 5,000m title

Kwalia James of Qatar retained the men's 5,000 meters title in Guangzhou Tuesday.

James clocked 14:02.91 for the gold medal, with compatriot Essa Ismail Rashed won the bronze in 14:04.52. Bahrain's Hasan Mahboob took the silver after timing 14:03.44.

James represented Qatar after switching his nationality from homeland Kenya.
